at Telephone Exchange....

Hi Everyone... Good Evening...

Was a tiring day... From past two days I went up and down the telephone exchange to get a new combo (landline and wireless broadband) connection... Finally, today early evening I submitted all the papers and they assured me that the line will be put up with a instrument and wireless modem in two to three working days...
The people there are so rude and lack knowledge of their own system... Wen I went there, everyone's attitude was as if I am convicted and asking them a favour...
No body was ready to listen to wat I wanted to say. I tried to explain four people there, but in vain... At the end of our debate they concluded, I will never get a phone connection at all...
I was so upset, not because of not getting the new connection... but because of their attitude towards their customers...
Finally, I decided to get through the contacts in the exchange... some higher authority who is a family friend of ours... And guess wat...!!! They suddenly understood wat I tried to say and one of them actually offered me tea-coffee and made me sit and thus tried to make me comfortable... He explained me what documents were required and requested to submit them as soon as possible...

A typical Government orgainsation... Then I realised, if you know somebody in these offices only then your work can be done... or else no body is even ready to look at you...
Unfortunately I coudnt do anything about this yet... but somebody, somewhere should put up such cases.. Only then these so called 'Government Servants' will actually serve common public with dignity...
Now lets see, wen will I get the instrument and connection... Hope I dont face any problem again...

Home Sweet Home

Hi everybody,

Yeeeeppppeeee... M home.....

Seven days. My daughter still recognises me... Looks like, she didnt miss me at all... But, she was happy to see me around... its almost 2300 hrs now and she is in her night dress, all set for a good night sleep...

So am I... M already out of my Jet Lag...
The best and the easy way to overcome jet lag is sleep only at night... remain awake during day time. This really helps us come out of jet lag sooner...

I came as passenger today from Delhi... its so relaxing wen we dont have to operate. We are just a regular passenger, like all others travelling with us... love the feeling...
Had a small baby boy, about 18 mths old, sitting on the seat ahead... who didnt allow us to sleep for that whole flight... He wanted to play with us and wen we tried to close our eyes, in short, ignore him, he started crying... Now we had no option but play with him and keep him quiet as we saw his parents already 'Exhausted' and unable to handle him... So the baby sitting was done by us...
This is another reason why I am sleepy now...
Tomorrow I have many pending things to be completed... So need to sleep now...

In Delhi today...

Hey everyone.... Good Evening....

Hussshhhh..... Back to India... in Delhi today...
Flight was good, lesser flying time today than the previous sector... So, reached sooner...
As always, had handful of passengers on board and so the crew... This sector was really a better one than the previous...
This was the only flight (as was my first Toronto flt) were I saw a passengers having tea, orange juice, tomato juice, coffee, pepsi, milk in an interval of 10 mins each... Still they managed to deplane FIT... And after discussing this with one of my senior, realised this happens on every other Toronto flight... God Bless their appetite...

Though I m physically in India, but mentally I m still on Toronto timings... In other words, I m suffering from JET LAG...

I m leaving Delhi tomorrow afternoon for Mumbai... Ohhh... wat a happy moment... I will be at home tomorrow night... Seven days passed... tomorrow I will be with my little daughter and my hubby... Was counting days since I came on this flight... and I do this on every flight...
Ok folks, have to pack my bags and get my clothes ready for tomorrows' flight... so got to go....

Still in Toronto...

Good Morning everyone,
Its 5.00 am, n m still in Toronto... Wat a boring day it was... Easter Sunday, everything closed, no eating joints, no shopping, nothing to do... except watch TV and sleep... It was indeed a lazy day for me...
Today afternoon I will be leaving Toronto... I cudnt explore much of this place this time... But in our kind of job we always have a next time...;)
Again back to Delhi...चलो दिल्ली.... wer my flight originated from... will take 3 more days to return to my base...मुंबई, आमची मुंबई....

Toronto...

Hi everyone,

M in Toronto today... its 4.00 am and cold as always heard of.... Being a new comer, I am following my colleagues since I ve landed... Thou, most of them are my friends, they dont mind me troubling them... Thus I could happily arrange for a calling card, milk and a cup of tea and this PC in the crew room....

Hotel is nice and comfortable, has two Indian TV channels and a nice cozy bed to make me feel at home....

But, India is India... ए मेरे प्यारे वतन...

Will update how my rest of the day  was in my next post...
